Making a Vision Reality
Every real estate journey is unique! My journey into the real estate realm began my senior year of college with the profound influence of the book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki propelling me into a quest for financial freedom. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I dedicated myself to absorbing all that I could on real estate, finance and business. The more I read, the more sure I became of real estate’s ability to create generational wealth. I knew that I had the ability to become a successful real estate investor and I was on a mission to make that vision a reality. In my pursuit for knowledge, a mentor advised me to find a position where I could gain the knowledge I needed through first hand experience. After all of my studying, I knew that of all the various real estate careers, becoming a real estate manager would be the best position to prepare me to become a successful Investor.

I was soon blessed with the opportunity to become a Real Estate Service Coordinator at CBRE. An opportunity that I eagerly accepted. The knowledge, experience and exposure I have received at CBRE is more than I could have gotten from reading hundreds of books. I've been party to everything from daily operational tasks to the oversight of multimillion dollar construction projects. I've had the opportunity to speak to extremely successful real estate investors, build relationships with industry partners and develop a network of experienced real estate managers. The confidence I gained from my experience even empowered me to buy my own properties and begin my own real estate investment journey.

Goal
My approach is guided by the belief that each career opportunity should be an exciting avenue for continuous learning and exposure to topics aligning with personal dreams. In property management, every task, no matter how small, propels me toward the ultimate goal of creating generational wealth for my family and community.

I aspire to own a diverse portfolio of residential, office, and retail buildings. It is my mission to use the resources from my portfolio to not only secure my own financial freedom ,but also actively support minorities and impoverished communities to start businesses, secure safe living conditions, and acquire financial education. I hope to help these communities thrive and foster a life of abundance and peace for generations to come.

While I work to make this grand vision a reality, I will continue to refine my skills and act with poise, proactivity, and a quick-learning mentality, ensuring that no obstacle is insurmountable. As part of my commitment to the community, I plan to contribute by providing free resources and organizing networking events, advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the commercial real estate community.
Objectives
Education
I completed my undergraduate studies at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN where I played Division 1 Women's Basketball for three years. As a student athlete, I am most proud of my academic awards including several semesters of achieving the Deans List and achieving Academic All-Conference team.
In my professional career, I have completed several courses both towards certification and simply to refine my knowledge in the field. Most notably, I have completed all course towards my Certified Apartment Manager designation and the BOMA Foundations of Real Estate Management Course.
Experience
(CBRE)
I am a member of the onsite property management team for a Class A office building in Downtown Clayton. With CBRE, I have assisted in the operational oversight of a diverse commercial property portfolio that requires handling day-to-day operations, cultivating tenant relations, and managing major projects for Class A offices, industrial complexes, and retail spaces. A highlight of this role is my involvement in a multimillion dollar construction project that included an amenity space buildout and several floors of demolition.
Additionally, I am also an active member of the CBRE Cares Committee which organizes volunteer opportunities and fundraising events that serve charities throughout the Greater Saint Louis Area.
Certifications
In the past year, I diligently acquired my Certified Apartment Manager certification. Eagerly anticipating further growth, I am committed to obtaining a Certified Associate in Project Management and Certified Property Manager designations within the next year, solidifying my dedication to staying at the forefront of industry best practices.
